Heh, its screwed me over for a job once or twice already with the schedule they throw at us. Honestly I should have gave the college a year to fiddle with the Game Art course. Seriously being the guinea pig at a school I pay to go is total bs. I came to this college to do morning classes, thats I wanted, nothing more nothing less as it was what attracted me there in the first place. Now granted I am in this current disposition because of some home issues and having to stop going to class for about a month, but after that I was promised there would be at least afternoon classes.

However, although this seems to have turned sour, it actually has done much good for me. In the 1-2 months I wasn't going to college I managed to get quite a bit of stuff done. Even though night classes blow right now, I got back together with another friend there and I will be working with a team of people as a concept artist for the game they are creating which in turn I can use as portfolio work. I also applied for work down at the pop shop near my house, the hours that he is open would work perfectly for me even with the night classes.

truly I can't say that having night classes doesn't suck, at the same time some perks and unplanned things have happend that will more or less benefit me. I do hope though in the next 5 weeks, I can go back to my regular classes but there is much talking I need to do with the administration and a talking they WILL get.

Yea they managed to mess my schedule up real good, and it took some time to get it back together. For the next two weeks I have class at 8am-1pm as usual, but then I have to take a my gen. ed. on monday and wednesday at 6pm-8pm. Effectively screwing with getting a job and everything else.
